Simple Sustenance Acceptable Use Policy

2. Use Simple Sustenance responsibly

You must:

• use Simple Sustenance lawfully;
• provide accurate information where reasonably required;
• keep your account secure;
• respect other people and their rights; and
• use the service in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. What you must not do

You must not use Simple Sustenance to:

• break the law or help someone else break the law;
• commit fraud or impersonate another person;
• access another person’s account without permission;
• upload malware, viruses or other harmful code;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data;
• interfere with the security, operation or performance of the service;
• deliberately overload or disrupt the service;
• bypass authentication or other security measures;
• send spam or unsolicited communications;
• misuse free trials, promotional offers or subscriptions;
• use stolen payment details or make fraudulent payment claims; or
• do anything that could reasonably harm Simple Sustenance or its users.

4. Automated access and scraping

You must not use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access Simple Sustenance without our permission.

This includes:

• systematically copying content;
• harvesting information about users;
• making excessive automated requests;
• attempting to bypass technical restrictions; or
• using automated tools in a way that negatively affects the service.

This does not prevent ordinary search engine indexing where we have allowed it.

5. AI features

Some Simple Sustenance features use AI to generate meal plans, recipes, shopping lists and other suggestions.

You must not use these features to:

• generate unlawful or harmful content;
• deliberately abuse or overload our AI systems;
• attempt to bypass security controls;
• interfere with the operation of the service; or
• use automated prompts or scripts to attack or disrupt our systems.

AI-generated content can be wrong. You remain responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them, particularly where food allergies, dietary requirements or health are involved.

6. Content you upload

If Simple Sustenance allows you to upload images, photographs, text or other content, you must have the right to provide that content.

You must not upload anything that:

• breaks the law;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or other rights;
• is deliberately misleading or fraudulent;
• contains malware or harmful code; or
• is abusive, threatening, hateful or otherwise inappropriate.

You remain responsible for content you upload.

Our Terms & Conditions explain how we may process content you provide to Simple Sustenance.

7. Protecting the service

You must not:

• reverse engineer or decompile the service except where applicable law allows you to do so;
• attempt to discover or access source code;
• interfere with our servers or networks;
• test vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• circumvent technical protections; or
• modify or create a competing service from Simple Sustenance or its underlying technology.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights that cannot legally be restricted.

8. What happens if this policy is breached

We may take reasonable action if we believe this policy has been breached.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

• asking you to stop the relevant activity;
• restricting access to particular features;
• suspending your account;
• cancelling access to promotional offers;
• removing content where necessary; or
• closing your account.

We may take immediate action where necessary to protect Simple Sustenance, our users or our systems.

We will consider the seriousness and circumstances of the issue when deciding what action is appropriate.

Nothing in this policy prevents us from taking action where we are legally required to do so.

9. Reporting a problem

If you become aware of activity that you believe breaches this policy or puts Simple Sustenance or its users at risk, please contact us.

Where possible, include:

• a description of the issue;
• the relevant account or email address, if known;
• relevant dates or times; and
• screenshots or other useful information.

Please do not send us passwords, payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
