Simple Sustenance ("we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, optionally, your name. Used to sign you in and send essential service messages.
- Meal plan inputs: budget, household size, dietary preferences and notes you provide. Used only to generate your plan.
- Generated plans: stored so you can revisit them in your kitchen library.
- Billing: if you upgrade, Stripe processes your payment. We store a customer reference and subscription status only — never your card details.
- Anonymous usage analytics: aggregated, non-identifying data to improve the product.
How we use it
To run the service, generate your meal plans, handle billing, and improve the app. We do not sell your data, ever.

- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Anthropic — meal plan generation (inputs are sent to the model)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Cloudflare — content delivery and hosting
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Email hello@simple-sustenance.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Retention
We retain your account and saved plans for as long as your account is active. Delete your account to remove them.
